How to reach us

By car

In order to arrive at Manarola by car, it is necessary to pass from the city of La Spezia (exit La Spezia if you take the highway). Follow the indications for Cinque Terre and take the street which leads to the five villages. Once you have crossed Riomaggiore, you will find a roundabout that leads to Manarola. It is not possible to enter in the Manarola historic center by car, as for all the Cinque Terre towns. It is necessary to leave the car in the taxing parking outside the town (almost 300 meters from the house). Little more distant, there is also a free parking on the sides of the street that leads to Manarola, but you have to pay attention to the street signals in order to avoid fines. In high season period it could be difficult to find parking, because of the great affluence of tourists; for this reason we recommend visiting Cinque Terre by train.
To reach the house from the car parking, you have to take the main street toward the town centre. Few meters after the town entrance and before to reach the church of San Lorenzo, on your right you will find a small stone bridge. Go over the bridge and you will arrive in Via dei Molini; take the small street on the left and after few stairs you will find Sentieri sul Mare at the number 19.

By train

You can reach Manarola departing from the main train stations that lead to the Cinque Terre (La Spezia and Genova stations). When you arrive at Manarola station, you have to pass the tunnel that leads to the town centre. Take the street on the right (via Discovolo) in order to reach the church of San Lorenzo. When you arrive at the square of the church you have to continue along the main street for few meters, then you will find a small stone bridge on your left. Go over the bridge and you will arrive in Via dei Molini; take the small street on the left and after few stairs you will find Sentieri sul Mare at the number 19.

By boat

You can reach Manarola by boat through the ferry service that connects Cinque Terre with La Spezia and Levanto. After you have arrived at the small seaport of Manarola, you have to take the main street that leads to the upper part of the town up to the church of San Lorenzo. When you arrive at the square of the church you have to continue along the main street for few meters, then you will find a small stone bridge on your left. Go over the bridge and you will arrive in Via dei Molini; take the small street on the left and after few stairs you will find Sentieri sul Mare at the number 19.
